An advocacy group for Maori in Australia, is applauding the PM's comments on the policy of deporting convicted criminals back to New Zealand

Jacinda Ardern told media...with the Australian PM listening on...that the handling of NZ citizens who've lived most of their lives in Australia...is corrosive to the trans-Tasman relationship.

Iwi in Oz co-founder Filipa Payne says the PM is right to call Australia out.

She says Australia has been actively stripping away the rights of New Zealanders living in Australia.
