Both councils have temporarily suspended the company's operating licences, over safety concerns.
The scooters won't be back until officials are convinced Lime has fixed the problem of wheels suddenly locking up.

The Council previously permitted Lime a trading permit to trial-operate 700 scooters in the city, until the end of the month.
