    Belinda Bencic has stepped closer to ending a four-year title drought by reaching the final of the Dubai Championships


    The Swiss player has beaten defending champion Elina Svitolina 6-2 3-6 7-6.

    Bencic will face second-seeded Petra Kvitova after the Australian Open finalist came from a set down to beat Hsieh Su- wei 3-6 6-2 6-4 in the other semi-final.
