The Early Childhood Council says there are issues of affordability when it comes to childcare

Research company IbisWorld estimates parents will spend just over five-thousand dollars on childcare, clothing and footwear this year.
Of all the costs, pre-school care has risen the most, with the industry's revenue doubling to 1.1 billion in the past five years.
Early childhood council CEO Peter Reynolds says says the extra money the government's putting in, is for the extra kids using the services.....
And proportionally, government's contribution has decreased over the past ten years.
