Experts are confident we're still a long way off a fruitfly outbreak

Three male Queensland fruit flies have been found in Auckland's North Shore, including another in Northcote yesterday.
MPI's confident the male fruit flies it's trapping are isolated cases.
Lincoln University research officer Peter Holder says there needs to be an established population before it's considered an outbreak.
He expects there would need to be twice as many flies as we have now.
