A complaint has been made against a tour group seen urinating at the side of a road in Ashburton

A complaint has been made against a tour group seen urinating at the side of a road in Ashburton

Locals were disgusted after spotting the group who had pulled over in Tinwald on State Highway 1 to relieve themselves.

One says the men stood along the road while women were seen popping a squat in the bushes holding toilet paper.

It happened despite the fact there are public toilets just a kilometre down the road.

Bus company Pacific Tourways has laid the complaint against the passengers, and the tour operator who allowed their behaviour.
