Neil Wagner's short-pitched bowling tactics have again propelled New Zealand to a test cricket victory
12 March 2019
The left-arm pace bowler's taken nine wickets for 73 in the Black Caps' innings-and-12-run win over Bangladesh in Wellington.
Wagner has 16 wickets at an average of 14 for the series of which 14 have come from balls directed at the tourists' armpits.
The ethics of the approach have come in for scrutiny post-match, but stand-in captain Tim Southee says Wagner shouldn't be punished for accuracy.
The result secures an unprecedented fifth consecutive test series victory for New Zealand.
