Police have carried out two early morning pursuits in Auckland, just hours before a report into its pursuits practice is released

Police have carried out two early morning pursuits in Auckland, just hours before a report into its pursuits practice is released

The joint IPCA and Police report is due for release at midday.

The first pursuit today involved a speeding vehicle being driven by minors, which failed to stop for police in Onehunga about 10 past four this morning.

The vehicle crashed, but no one was injured.

The other involved a suspected stolen vehicle, which failed to stop on request in Takanini about 10 minutes later.

It hit road spikes and crashed into a light post a short time later.
