Hundreds attended a vigil in Auckland's Aotea Square yesterday afternoon - to show solidarity against racism, hate and Islamaphobia.
This afternoon, a prayer service will be held at Auckland's Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Members of the local Ponsonby Mosque across the road have been invited, and the service will conclude with a procession to the mosque to lay floral tributes.
A vigil will be held this evening in Wellington in Civic Square, and the Hamilton vigil will take place tonight at Claudelands Park.
