    Communities in far north Queensland are going into lockdown, with fears Cyclone Trevor could strengthen to a category four system before it hits


    Trevor has hit land as a category three stormr, bringing core wind gusts of up to 220 kilometres an hour.

    Abnormally high tides are expected, with some remote and sparsely populated regions predicted to receive up to 400 millimetres of rain in a 24 hour period
