Ko is currently in a five-way tie for third, with Spaniard Carlota Ciganda and China's Yu Liu leading on 21 under par.
Meanwhile Paul Casey has retained his title at the PGA Tour's Valspar Championship in Florida.
The Englishman's fired a one-over-par final round 72 to win by a shot on eight under overall.
