A Hawke's Bay father has admitted he hid his teenage son from police after the 14 year old killed a man

Forty-three-year-old Witerangi Hanara has pleaded guilty in the Napier District Court to perverting the course of justice.
He told police and social workers he didn't know where his 14-year-old son was after the teen stabbed Flaxmere man Kelly Donner last year.
Hanara will be sentenced in May.
