26 March 2019
The Auckland Regional Public Health Service has been notified of five new cases.
Most are in people with links to those with an existing infection.
Medical officer of health Dr William Rainger says a Rodney woman, in her 40s, is the only new, unrelated case.
She is now in isolation, but was infectious when she visited Countdowns in Silverdale and Orewa, and Oliver's Cafe in Orewa, on March 18.
She also visited the Parakai Four Square at 4.30pm on March 20.
The health service is warning people who visited these areas may have been exposed.
