Tom Robinson's taking his impressive start to the Blues season in his stride

The Northland flanker has started all five of his side's games so far and been a bright spot in their up-and-down season.

He attracted a major contingent of media at training today to reveal more about himself.

Robinson went to Kerikeri High School as a teenager and says he was tempted to head down to Auckland for his secondary schooling but resisted any poaching attempts.

He says the only poaching that went on up his way was that of illegal paua or oversized fish catches.
