Scott Dixon has held off a fast finishing Sebastien Bourdais to claim second behind Japan's Takuma Sato in the latest Indy Car race in Alabama

It's Dixon's sixth runner up place at the circuit and he says his tyres were fading fast as Bourdais closed in over the final ten laps.
He says every time he tried to defend an attack his tyres just got worse, so they will need to clear that up before next weeks race.
Dixon has improved one sport to second in the overall standings after three races.
