A study's found literacy achievement in schools is on the rise
10 April 2019
The report from the New Zealand Council for Educational Research focused on six primary schools over five years.
It's found they all made positive shifts in achievement through their literacy programmes.
Senior Researcher Jan Eyre says all of the schools were focusing on three elements - a supportive learning environment, developing relationships and goal-setting.
She says the schools were of varying deciles, size and location..
