The South Wairarapa District Council says it's incredibly disappointed there's another positive E. Coli result in Martinborough's water

The South Wairarapa District Council says it's incredibly disappointed there's another positive E. Coli result in Martinborough's water

A boil water notice was put in place for the town last night - after two routine tests came back positive.

It's the second contamination for the town this year.

Acting CEO, Jennie Mitchell, says they recognise the inconvenience, but public health and safety must come first.

Water bladders are being set up for residents and there are no reports of illnesses so far.
