Two Auckland companies that issued warrants of fitness ... have been suspended.
Three staff members at Whangaparaoa's Peninsula Motors issued almost 12-hundred WoFs that need rechecking.
Graeme Jordan - who's sole director of Peninsula Motors, admitted to incorrectly issuing a WoF to a vehicle with serious defects.
The WoF was issued based on the customer's assurance they'd fix the defects after the inspection.
