The Waikato/Bay of Plenty Magic remain in pursuit of an ANZ netball premiership play-off spot after a 57-50 win over the Mainland Tactix in Hamilton

The win is the Magic's fourth win of the season and keeps them within touching distance of the third-placed Northern Stars.

Magic midcourter Sam Sinclair proud of the way they kept things together for a second consecutive win.

She says it shows they can't drop off as they're setting a standard every week.

The Tactix remain on the bottom of the competition ladder.
