The biggest test of the Rugby World Cup may not be on the field - but if the streaming services will work

It'll cost between 60 and 90 dollars to have access to all the matches on the Spark Sport app.

The All Blacks pool and knockout matches will be played free-to-air on TVNZ, with a delay.

Telecommunications user association chief executive Craig Young says their biggest concern is whether providers can work together to deliver.

He says it's going to rely not just on Spark but the broadband provider as well.
