Southland Police have arrested a 12th person - in a crackdown on organised crime

Southland Police have arrested a 12th person - in a crackdown on organised crime

Last week, police executed search warrants in Queenstown, Invercargill and Gore, arresting 11 people, and seizing drugs, firearms, cash and stolen property.

Southland Acting Area Commander, Inspector Mike Bowman, says the latest arrest is part of ongoing effort to disrupt criminal groups.

The 19 year old will appear in the Invercargill District Court today.
