Ronaldo and Juventus have lost 2-1 to Ajax in the second leg of their quarterfinal in Italy, to fall 3-2 on aggregate.
Manchester United also won't be in the last four.
They've been beaten 3-nil by Barcelona in Spain, with the La Liga side advancing 4-nil on aggregate.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says Barca star Lionel Messi led the charge for the hosts.
He says Messi and Ronaldo have been the best players in the last decade, and the Argentine again showed his quality.
