Medical Officer of Health -Dr Neil de Wet - says the most recent case, reported last night, is linked to previous cases in Mount Maunganui.
He says measles is a very infectious viral illness that spreads easily from person to person.
Dr de Wet says if anyone thinks they have it, they should call their doctor or hospital ahead for advice.
