De Belin's case will wind up in the Federal Court today.
He's suing the game after he was stood down under the new "no fault" policy on serious charges, for which he claims there is no justification.
De Belin became the first player removed under the rules after he was charged with the aggravated sexual assault of a 19-year-old woman.
He has pleaded not guilty.
