9500 cannabis plants have been seized during a joint operation between the Defence Force and Police

9500 cannabis plants have been seized during a joint operation between the Defence Force and Police

The three-week operation covered areas in the Tasman and Central police districts.

Air Component Commander Tim Walshe says the support of an air force helicopter was important - because the plants were in remote areas.
