    Greenpeace is demanding more responsibility from dairy farmers over the state of the environment

    It claims the new Environment Aotearoa 2019 report paints a "comprehensively damning" picture of the sector.

    Spokesperson Steve Abel says New Zealand has one of the highest rates of emissions per capita in the the world....and that has to change.

    He says the report shows how the sector has lowered almost every environmental metric in the country.
