The hosts pack went backwards throughout the match, with the experiment to move tighthead prop Angus Ta'avao to the loosehead side struggling to work.
Chiefs assistant coach Nick White says the return of Atu Moli should help remedy the issue.
He says they've also got a couple of young players around who can help out.
