The Sydney Morning Herald reports officials either side of the Tasman are exploring potential new dates in March for the cricket series against Australia, which has been bumped from its January slot after the India flexed its muscle on a series it's hosting against the Aussies.
The issue is that it would put it in competition with the opening rounds of the NRL and the AFL, with the only other option being October due to the Future Tours Programme.
The two sides are already scheduled to play three Twenty20s in late March.
