Folau is currently preparing for a code of conduct hearing to save his Rugby Australia contract, after making inappropriate posts on social media.
The Wallabies fullback played rugby league between 2007 and 2010.
Working for Channel Nine in Australia, Johns says he couldn't care less about what Folau has said, but questions if he could simply slot back into it.
He says Folau would probably need 12 months to get up to speed, and he couldn't play fullback in the code as he's not fit enough.
