The 110th and last ship is berthing in the capital today.
The season brought in a record 220-thousand passengers.
An estimated 56-million dollars has also been injected into the local economy.
Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency general manager David Perks says it's only looking up for next season.
He says the bookings for next year are bigger again and they're expecting to see the larger cruise ships coming from China.
