Auckland Council expects to be dealing with an appeal over the contentious Queens Wharf decision

Independent Commissioners have granted resource consent for an extension to the wharf to allow for bigger cruise ships.
The council's general manager of resource consent Ian Smallburn is expecting major push back.
He says there were around 340 submissions, and plenty of opposition to the decision.
