Callan Elliot is happy his future is secure with the Wellington Phoenix

Callan Elliot is happy his future is secure with the Wellington Phoenix

The 19-year-old has extended his one-year deal with the club, and will now be based in the Capital for the 2019/20 season.

Elliot says the decision was a no brainer despite having to live with the realities of being a professional footballer.

He says there's a lot more gym work, and dietary requirements than he was used to turning pro.
