The word's been put out to police stations around the country to lock up firearms properly

The instruction comes after eleven guns were stolen from Palmerston North police station on ANZAC Day.
Alan James Harris has since appeared in court charged with burglary.
Eight of the guns have also been recovered.
Deputy Police Commissioner Mike Clement says although the firearms were in a secure area,but they were not in the right place.
He says they should have been in the station's strong room.
