    Kiwi Sam Meech has finished on the podium at his latest Laser sailing regatta in France


    The Olympic bronze medalist went into the medal race in second and his sixth place in the top 10, double points showdown, has been enough to secure silver.

    Fellow New Zealanders Tom Saunders was second in the medal race to finish seventh overall, while George Gautrey has ended the week in 10th.

    Olivia Christie's finished the best of the Kiwis in the Laser Radial in 16th.
