A major study shows drugs which suppress HIV can prevent people passing the virus on

More than a thousand gay male couples across Europe took part in the research.
Where one partner had HIV and took antiretroviral drugs to suppress it, and the couple had unprotected sex, the virus was not passed one.
Acting New Zealand AIDS Foundation chief executive Joe Rich says it's a call to action for regular testing, so people can start treatment and reduce the risk of passing it on.
