A mental health victims advocate is looking forward to any recommendations from a coronial inquiry
8 May 2019
A spate of mental health related killings that happened in 2015 and 2016 in Wellington is being investigated by a coroner.
The names and circumstances surrounding the deaths have been suppressed while the inquiry's ongoing.
Graeme Moyle's brother was killed by a mental health patient in 2007.
He says the deaths being looked at one after the other by the coroner is a great idea, and he hopes it may result in some action.
But Moyle adds any recommendations still have to be implemented to make any changes.
