KiwiRail is ready to roll on battling climate change

It's welcomed the Government's Zero Carbon Bill and is planning to play its part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Chief executive Greg Miller says KiwiRail has already reduced its emissions by three per cent over the past two financial years.
He says it's well positioned to continue lowering its emissions.
Miller says rail generates 66 per cent less carbon emissions per tonne than trucks - as well as taking more than one-million trucks off our roads each year.
