    A long-awaited return in the Highlanders side to face the Jaguares on Saturday evening in Dunedin


    All Blacks blindside Liam Squire is in line for his first appearance of the season in his return from hip and knee injuries.

    Ayden Johnstone and Siate Tokolahi return into the run-on side at prop, switching with Daniel Lienert-Brown and Tyrel Lomax who drop to the bench.

    Josh Dickson comes into the side to start at lock for Jackson Hemopo, while Matt Faddes earns Ben Smith's fullback spot as he recovers from his hamstring injury.

    Jordan Hyland makes his second appearance in Highlanders colours on the right wing, and Sio Tomkinson starts in midfield for Tei Walden.
