Up to three-thousand disability support workers will strike for an hour on Monday - after failed mediation efforts

Up to three-thousand disability support workers will strike for an hour on Monday - after failed mediation efforts

E tu Industry Coordinator Alastair Duncan says mediation with IDEA Services was scheduled to last a whole day yesterday - but the management team walked out less than two hours in.

He says as a result, they are going ahead with a one hour strike on Monday at 3.30pm - and more strike notices are likely to follow.
