    If you're over 65 or pregnant - you need to get vaccinated against the flu


    Director of Public Health, Dr Caroline McElnay, says more than a million New Zealanders have already had the jab.

    But she's calling on more of us - especially those with long-term illnesses - to protect ourselves.

    Doctor McElnay says a number of vulnerable people who catch flu end up in hospital every year.
