Police have arrested two men in relation to a slew of stolen trailers in Auckland

Police have arrested two men in relation to a slew of stolen trailers in Auckland

Around 40 trailers have been pilfered from driveways, petrol stations and trailer hire outlets in Waitemata East this year.

    Some have been sold online.

The arrests come after police carried out four search warrants yesterday afternoon.

A 42-year-old man faces a number of charges including theft and possession of methamphetamine for supply.

The second man, who is 39, faces theft, burglary, and drugs charges.

Police are still investigating trailer thefts.
