    Police are appealing for sightings of hundreds of sheep stolen from Southland farms


    320 sheep were taken from the Waimumu area south-west of Gore over the past eight days.

    They're worth an estimated 65-thousand dollars.

    Eight rams with distinctive orange spray paint marks on their backs were also stolen.
