The task of filling up the Wellington Phoenix's roster could be the perfect start to incoming coach Ufuk Talay's tenure

The task of filling up the Wellington Phoenix's roster could be the perfect start to incoming coach Ufuk Talay's tenure

The Phoenix have confirmed the contacts of Nathan Burns, Antony Golec, Justin Gulley, Michal Kopczynski , Ryan Lowry, and Cillian Sheridan will not be renewed.

That leaves four of five import spots available, and football operations manager Shaun Gill says that makes a good situation for Talay.

He says it's a blessing for a new coach so they can forma team that suits their style.
