    Hundreds of millions of dollars are expected to go into a town hub for Drury, south of Auckland


    Drury is a rural lifestyle area, about 37 kilometres south of Auckland CBD - and is part Auckland Council's southern growth area.

    The Kiwi Property Group says it envisages a pedestrian-centric town centre - with concept art showing shops, offices, bars, and restaurants around plenty of green areas.

    The group says it wants to retain an old farmhouse on the site, with a suggestion of converting it into a restaurant.
