A good bill of health for the Pike River drift

A good bill of health for the Pike River drift

The Pike River Recovery agency's Dinghy Pattinson opened the seal to cheers from the families of the 29 miners killed in the disaster.

He says it was in good condition and there was good visibility down the first stretch of the drift - and it's virtually the same as it was when it was sealed in 2016.
