Another 2000 teachers are joining next week's mega strike

Another 2000 teachers are joining next week's mega strike

Area school teachers have voted to walk off the job on Wednesday - alongside their primary and secondary counterparts.

The nationwide strike is the largest education strike in New Zealand's history.

It's the first time all compulsory schooling sector teachers have taken simultaneous strike action.

NZEI Te Riu Roa President, Lynda Stuart, says area school teachers face the same issues as every teacher.
