Incoming Wellington Phoenix coach Ufuk ] Talay is in no rush, but knows he must get recruitment right

Talay has fronted media for the first time since he was appointed as Mark Rudan's replacement as coach.

He has just seven players left after a number of departures, including a raid by Rudan and his new club Western United.

He says they're not in a rush and will decide who to sign on a case by case basis.

The A-League has confirmed next year's season with 11 teams will start on October 11th.
