Bowling continues to be Jimmy Neesham's focus at the cricket World Cup in his pursuit of genuine all-rounder status

Bowling continues to be Jimmy Neesham's focus at the cricket World Cup in his pursuit of genuine all-rounder status

He played eight one-day internationals over summer, taking 10 wickets at an average of 22.90 while conceding less than five and a half runs an over.

Neesham also picked up four wickets in the three practice matches against Australia in Brisbane this month, but says it's a work-in-progress.

He says he's confident with the bat but the ball needs work.

New Zealand's first practice match is against India tomorrow night.
