Former captain Steve Smith's endures chorus of boos and loud chants of cheater in Australia's cricket World Cup warm-up

Former captain Steve Smith's endured a chorus of boos and loud chants of cheater on his way to a century in Australia's first cricket World Cup warm-up match

Playing in the UK for the first time since returning from his year-long ban for ball tampering, Smith's plundered 116 from 102 balls, to guide his side to 297 for nine from their 50 overs against England in Southampton.

The hosts and World Cup favourites were then dismissed for 285 in the last over.
