Waisake Naholo has surpassed expectations upon his return from injury for the Highlanders in Super Rugby

Waisake Naholo has surpassed expectations upon his return from injury for the Highlanders in Super Rugby

The All Blacks winger played his first game in almost two months during this morning's loss to the Stormers and was required for the whole game.

Highlanders coach Aaron Mauger explains why.

He says they were planning on playing Naholo for only 40 or 50 minutes but some injuries meant he had to play 80.

Meanwhile, All Blacks hooker Dane Coles has been named in the Hurricanes squad to travel to South Africa after returning from injury via club rugby yesterday.
